ALEX

Principal Consultant

Alex specializes in Leadership Development and Team-Building for a variety of clientele, as well as conducting Enrollment and Marketing audits in the education sector. His over 20 years of experience in academia, athletics, and non-profits have equipped him with the expertise to assist a variety of individuals and institutions. Alex has served as a Certified Authorized Everything DiSC® and Five Behaviors of a Cohesive Team™ Partner and Trainer since 2016, holding vast experience developing, delivering, and facilitating large-scale programs to a wide array of individuals, including working with many colleges, the National Collegiate Athletic Association (NCAA), as well as corporate and nonprofit organizations.


Prior to his current role as a consultant and trainer, Alex served as the Director of Enrollment Management and Director of Partnerships at both the higher-ed and PreK-12 independent school levels. He also has vast experience in athletics administration, serving in different capacities at several NCAA Division III institutions throughout the Mid-Atlantic and New England regions, as well as being an executive leader in the non-profit sector. In addition, he has taught higher education courses on a broad range of topics ranging from effective communications to compliance, business and professional communications, as well as public speaking, to human resource management and business ethics. These endeavors, coupled with a master’s degree in organizational communication – with a focus on leadership – have shaped Alex’s approach to consulting.

 

A native of Michigan, Alex earned an MA in Organizational Communication from Kean University in New Jersey, and an M.Ed. in Athletic Administration from Endicott College in Massachusetts. He is also a graduate of Penn State University where he earned a BA in History.

CHRIS

Chris, aka ‘winnie’ specializes in animal welfare, environmental enrichment and behavioral management for animals in research environments. A practicing veterinarian for over 20 years she has experience in both academic and industry. 

 

Prior to her current role as welfare and behavioral management consultant, she served as the director of enrichment and behavioral medicine for a large global contract research organization, harmonizing environmental enrichment practices and developing behavioral husbandry programs to enhance animal welfare and operational efficiency. In this role, she garnered an international reputation as a behavior and enrichment expert in the laboratory animal medicine field, led research to provide evidence-based data for enrichment and behavioral management initiatives, and published in the field of laboratory animal enrichment and behavioral management in multiple species. In her previous role, she commissioned and managed 37,000 square feet of newly built multi-species vivarium for academic research in the Manhattanville neighborhood of Manhattan, New York City. Currently, she is the Director for Animal Welfare External Due Diligence for a global pharmaceutical company.

 

Winnie earned her DVM from Mississippi State University College of Veterinary Medicine. She completed an internship in Small Animal Medicine and Surgery at the Animal Medical Center in New York City. She completed both a residency in laboratory animal medicine and earned a master’s in public health with a focus on toxicology at Columbia University in New York. She earned her Six Sigma Black Belt from Six Sigma Academy in 2011.

RALPH

Six Sigma Master Black Belt

Ralph, who specializes in Quality Management and Process Improvement, comes to Winning Consultations with over 30 years of experience improving customer satisfaction and business productivity through the development, implementation and management of quality and service improvement initiatives. His areas of expertise include six sigma, cross-functional process mapping facilitation, business process reengineering, and quality program design, deployment and management.


Prior to his current role as a quality management and process improvement consultant, Ralph served in multiple quality and process improvement-focused senior management roles, including: six sigma master black belt for ING U.S., where he managed six sigma initiatives for the retirement services and employee benefits divisions; senior vice president and quality director for CitiStreet, LLC, where he directed a company-wide quality program based on six sigma principles; vice president of corporate quality for Citigroup, Inc. where he facilitated global cross-functional process improvement projects; and vice president financial information services for ADP Financial Services, Inc. where he managed customer service improvements for brokerage clients.


Ralph earned a Bachelor of Business Administration from Wayne State University in Detroit, Michigan and a Master of Management from Walsh College in Troy, Michigan. In addition, he holds certifications as a Master Cross-Functional Process Improvement Facilitator, Six Sigma Black Belt, and Six Sigma Master Black Belt. He became a member of the American Society for Quality in 1999, and has been a senior member since 2003.

MEGAN

Marketing Coordinator

Megan, a graduate of Rider University with a B.A. in Journalism and a Masters in Public Administration from Kean University holds more than a decade of communication and marketing experience in both the non-profit and academic sectors. A published author, her professional strengths include feature writing, social media marketing, photography, publication planning, and graphic design.

With ample experience both at the higher-ed and PreK-12 independent school levels, Megan works with a variety of clients to assist in enhancing their marketing endeavors. She lives with her husband in Colorado Springs, Colorado, where she enjoys hiking, running, and seeking animals such as BigHorn Sheep throughout the Rocky Mountains.
